You'll made our stay most pleasurable, comfortable and stress-free. You thought of everything for this to be possible. Especially the coffee (forgot mine at home).
The girls said to convey to you'll their thanks as this was definitely not their last outing to Fynbos Estate. They especially loved the swimming from morning till late and eating their meals outside with a most stunning view and sleeping with mattresses down on the floor.
I have previously been out with other groups where we paid an arm and a leg and it wasn't quite as perfectly set up the way you did for me and my group. Your place is absolutely beautiful peaceful and so safe. My main concern was the safety of the girls but that concern was put to rest when I got there. 
My sincerest gratitude to all of you.

A perfect party at the perfect setting. We just loved staying over in this huge farm house which brought back fond childhood memories, also allowed us ample opportunity to share some time with family and friends before and after the party. Waking up, having coffee on the stoep was just awesome. Most people could stay over and we didn’t have to worry about people driving home or run into trouble with the law. Definitely a very memorable party.

SUMMER WORKSHOPS, RETREATS, WINE TASTINGS AND VISITORS AT FYNBOS 2015/2016

This summer has been an exciting time for workshops, yearend functions, wine tastings and assorted visitors. Events have ranged from a small automotive trade fair (quite unusual for us) to plant medicine retreats to the Santam annual Swartland Olive and Wine Route lunch. We have had numerous wine tastings and did the Swartland wine tasting event at Kirstenbosch. Visitors on getaways or for day visits have come from all parts of SA and quite a few from Europe and Australia.

YEAR END FUNCTIONS SPECIAL

Four Parties at Fynbos

Here are three recent 50th birthday parties, all of which  included a two night stay-over (the best way to party). Additionally  a Year End celebration.

Erica Joubert’s 50th

Erica’s 50th weekend was warm and relaxed and included some grownups, numerous children, a parrot and even, among the guests, André Brink.

It is such a pleasure to write a review where I can honestly endorse a splendid destination! Everyone in our group still tells me how wonderful it was; Karina Brink described it as the sole island of rejuvenation in the month of August. And truly, the fact that all of us, between the ages of 4 and 79, could be accommodated so perfectly, attests to the physical and spiritual assets of Fynbos. 
The little girls with the donkeys are my brother's youngest ones, they adored the donkeys too! My brother specifically loved the farm setup, it reminded all of us of the farm where we grew up. 
 We'd love to come again and hope that we can do that soon. 
And thanks again for making my birthday the best it could possibly be.

Mike Stefansky’s 50th

Mike, along with friends and family, had a happy weekend birthday which included a party dinner (sadly no pics), a cellar tasting, animated watching of rugby and much eating and drinking on the stoep.

Lisa and Harley Hart’s 50th 

Lisa and Harley’s long-time work in film meant that the place looked gorgeous under Lisa’s art direction and many different kinds of people celebrated together. Also much bubbly was consumed.

Thank you for making our 50th birthday celebration an event to remember.
From the limoncello and champagne welcoming drinks to the delicious lunch, awesome supper to the crisp white sheets of those who slept over, it was a wonderful success.
Everyone wanted to know where we found you all.
We were delighted, as were our guests, with our party and are still receiving compliments on our celebration.
Please add us to your delivery list for drop off in Cape Town for your supernova and cosmos which are now, both, firm favourites of ours. We are intending to come back with a bunch of friends and book out the farm house before the
end of summer.

WINTER AND SPRING WORKSHOPS, RETREATS AND WINE TASTINGS

Biodanza

A Biodanza retreat was held here during Spring.
According to Christos, the chairperson of the national Biodanza movement
"Biodanza is a system of personal growth and development using music, movement and connection with feeling. To become a facilitator takes three years and the retreat held at Fynbos is an annual event organised by the association of Biodanza facilitators so that we can meet, learn and exchange ideas."

This is always rather an intense and emotional time and the care and attention we received from everyone at Fynbos was amazing. The food always on time and prepared with love was nourishing and the accommodation comfortable.

Sunday Schools of the Western Cape

50 adults and children from Anglican Church Sunday Schools of the Western Cape, had their yearend service, picnic and nativity play in the new Barn venue. It was a treat to see so many children on the farm, swimming and running joyfully about.

Wellness Retreat.

Stephanie Maurel describes herself as an ` Authentic parenting and child coach and specialist Pilates Instructor’ working at Family Wellness.  In Spring she ran a wellness retreat integrating all aspects of her work.

Members of NACOSA who work with HIV, AIDS and TB throughout South Africa, celebrated the year end here, following a national yearend meeting in Cape Town.

Stellenbosh Wine Group

A Stellenbosch wine club, who have been in existence for over 20 years, visited us for wine tasting as part of a weekend wine exploration of in the Swartland. They were very lively and laughed a lot.

We so enjoyed our visit and the wines and we think the newly bottled Mourvedre and Port showing very well.

Johan belongs to this wine tasting group, and was delighted when Erika Joubert, the convener, asked us to host the year end function. It was a cold Spring night but Moroccan chicken and lots of vino soon warmed everyone up.

Directors of Personal Trust financiers had their annual Review meeting on the 20th & 21st November 2013.

Thank you for the venue. We had an excellent meeting and decisions taken from that meeting will now be known as Fynbos Decisions. The food and wine were also very good.

Graduate Training Workshop

In August Global Load Control Cape Town ran this workshop for Lufthansa staff.  With the crash of one of our drives we lost the pic of them, but it seems they had a good time.
