Great farm photos 1 : Jon Riordon

We often receive wonderful photographs from visitors to the farm, and so we have decided to feature these in between our other posts over the next while.

The first of this series features photographs taken by Jon Riordan, who is in fact a professional photographer currently completing his masters in documentary studies at UCT. He also happens to be the boyfriend of our daughter Ruth, which means he visits quite frequently and often takes photographs - because of course that’s what he loves most to do.

Most of these particular photos were taken last year on a misty day in early spring last year and a few (of the wide sky) he took more recently when I asked him if he could try to capture the wide open sky above the farm that I love so much.
