Along with Spring came a stream of guests and visitors. Apart from past individual posts (Janice & David wedding, APC, SAFCEI and the Children’s Literature Retreat), the following groups, guests and visitors have come to Fynbos between September and end of November.
Book Club Getaway
A group of visitors from Somerset West and Stellenbosch held one of their book club getaways here and alongside plenty of interesting debate, went wining and dining and walking in the mountain.

Thandi’s 30th
Thandi Davies had a leisurely 30th weekend with friends and family partying and chilling on the farm. We weren’t here ourselves, but by all accounts it was a great success.

Tantric Retreat
A good deal of deep and hard work happened at the 3 day tantric retreat run by Australian facilitator, Andrew Barnes. The change in the energy of participants over the period was quite remarkable.

This year we were too booked up to have more than a few yearend functions – one of which was Clicks from Brackenfell who enjoyed a day of braaing and swimming.
The Presence Retreat
“This retreat” says facilitator Natalia Baker, “was designed to gently and powerfully peel away the outer layers that prevent you from experiencing and living the awareness, simplicity, wisdom and love of the Presence, your essence”

As always, we were delighted to have overnight or day visitors at Fynbos, including Martin and Carla Slabbert from Gauteng, the Harris family (some all the way from Israel), Don and Patch from Vredehoek, Colleen from Observatory and Howard and Ingrid from Sweden.
