Fynbos June Guests

Winter weather has not deterred guests and visitors from Fynbos. In fact with the mild and, for the most part, still and sunny days, the farm has been at its best.

Sandra Hill escaped the noise and distraction of her young family to spend two days in the small cottage writing a short story.

The Dauberman family and friends together with their dogs, spent some days in Fynbos House. They walked, cycled, braaied and painted

Comment We all loved your farm, and the house.  Especially our dogs.  It was just their kind of holiday.  We brought our own teas and spices, so it wasn’t necessary to use yours, but thanks anyway.  I would have liked more time there to paint, but the weekend was for Lisa’s birthday gift, so family had to take priority.  We look forward to the top cottage being renovated. Good luck with your endeavours.

Natalia Baker held her first retreat at Fynbos. We so enjoyed having her and her lovely group here.  Natalia said that in essence her retreat was designed to

`..... gently and powerfully peel away the outer layers.....to open up, go beyond the mind and trust oneself.

Comments: Thank you SO much to you and Johan and the 2 assistants for making our visit so pleasant, easy and “flowing”. You were always there to support us but never intrusive and it was so appreciated. Thank you, thank you. Everyone loved Fynbos and I look forward to being with you again. Johan’s cooking was excellent – much enjoyed.

Thank you for making us so welcome. The food was delicious. The bed was warm and comfortable, the bath was hot. What more is there!

Malcolm Arlene, Denver and Joy, spent a long lazy Saturday here - mostly eating and drinking - with some walking thrown in.
