Koen and Esther report on their time here

We stayed for 1 month with Johan and Diana at Fynbos and loved it. During our stay we did a lot of different things from picking olives to catering for 18 people at a bio dance event. We learned a lot about wines (both making and drinking them), cooking, preparing and catering for large events such as weddings, and many other things. Our top 5 happenings at Fynbos Estate:

1. Adopting little Lambert, a lamb which was abandoned by his mother
2. Stomping grapes with our feet to make port
3. Learning to make the most delicious chocolate pudding ever
4. Drinking a bottle of Johan's Sangiovese, the prize-winning and one of the best wines we ever had!
5. Hiking on Dragonridge and finding lots of porcupine quills along the trail.
The volunteering job at Johan and Diana's was our first, and it was so positive, that we got the "volunteering bug" and now plan to do volunteer work in Australia as well. Hopefully it will be an equally enjoyable experience!
Johan and Diana- we loved meeting you and thanks a lot for the love and care we received from you during our stay. Give Lambert, Bahrrrbara and all the other animals a big hug from us

And we loved having Koen and Esther too and they gave us loads of help. Thank you guys and have fun on your travels.
