Funny how things happen! Just after we blogged about the happy relationship between Molly the duck and Mr Ching the Chinese goose, our friends Rick and Colleen asked if we would take Goosey Lucy their Chinese goose, who was grieving the loss of her long term partner. (I’m telling you it’s quite a business looking after the emotional well being of all our feathered, pawed and hoofed friends)We hesitated given the special twelve year relationship between Molly and Mr Ching, but thought we would give it a try. Here is the sequence of pictures showing of the meeting of the geese and subsequent almost immediate falling into couple-ness with all its honking squawking and mirroring behaviour. Happily Molly has remained part of the threesome, and seems fine, although we do want to find some more ducks like her to hang out with.
