With the end of winemaking, came the departure of most of our last group of volunteers. Longest staying was the French-Japanese Simon, who is studying to be an hotelier and was with us for 2 months. Will and Maggie, graduates in maths and creative writing from the US, and Chris a chef from Sweden, worked a month, and Andeol, a medical student, also from France, came mid-harvest, and will be staying another two weeks. Although each volunteer had special talents, as a whole they made a fantastic team. They never stinted on the work, were happy to do a range of tasks, and every day between them cooked the most delicious food. They also had lots of fun and made us laugh a lot. Thanks guys.
