A MAGICAL FOUR DAY WEDDING FOR CAROLINE AND ANDY

Caroline and Andy, together with 20 of their friends and family travelled from the UK and other parts of Europe to Fynbos Estate to celebrate a four day wedding like none we have hosted before.  Many are musicians so the sounds of violin and recorder, voice and tabala floated through the kloof alongside laughter and birdcall, and many lazy hours were spent in the pool, playing games or simply catching up with each other on verandas and in hidden garden spots.  Decorated with wild fennel flowers from the garden, colourful cloths and bunting sewn from grandmother’s dresses,   the couple wed under the big oaks and ate, drank, played music and were merry through the evening in the Pavilion.   Photographers Desmond Louw and Antonio Heil captured the magical quality of the event.

We loved Caroline and Andy’s wedding, it reminded us so much of our wedding. It was a relaxed, intimate and just a love-filled affair with very close family and friends that came all the way from the UK. Absolutely our style. The venue was the beautiful Fynbos Estate – and we loved the drive, the vibe, music, good weather, laughter and good food – congrats again, we loved being part of your wedding Andy and Caroline!   Much love, Toni and Desmond

Fynbos Estate was the perfect choice for our wedding. We and all our guests loved the location, the accommodation and were treated to such great the food and wine.

Our relaxed approach to wedding organisation was fully embraced (luckily!). Diana and the team worked with us to create the most magical day with so many of the natural elements that we love. Johan of course provided us with outstanding food throughout our stay and we worked this off after the wedding dinner with an evening of songs, dancing and finally a starlit swim.

It was so special my friends are already talking about returning...
