The approach

What I found in the Paardeberg was totally unexpected.  A person hears about places and sees the signboards and never gives them a second thought. Nothing prepared me though for how spectacular the scenery is. The approach to Fynbos is a cocktail of Cape winelands, traditional farm and rugged mountain wilderness, I could gush about the farm itself but that is best left for another post.
